Welcome to Studio Integrifolia, the creative practice of artist Jo McLean.
Bringing together art-making, gardening, and playful experimentation, Jo works with living plants and their many symbolic and representational forms.
On an industrial site at the edge of inner-city Newcastle, Jo is cultivating a garden. Grown organically and planted to attract both pollinators and people, the studio garden offers a space to reconnect with nature. It provides a setting for creative workshops and immersive experiences that encourages a direct connection with the natural world.
